The Admiral Meatrack is part of our modular transport concept and is developed for the safe storage and transport of professional lighting equipment. It provides a structured and adaptable solution for moving heads, lighting bars and single luminaires within one organised rack.

The frame is constructed using fork-side panels in 112 cm, 183 cm or 203 cm heights, combined with interchangeable length profiles. This modular construction allows the rack width and internal configuration to be adjusted according to fixture type and transport requirements.

Aluminium or steel hanging tubes can be added to match the weight and dimensions of the fixtures. The rigid steel frame ensures stability during transport and on-site handling.

With a maximum load capacity of 400 kg, the Admiral Meatrack is designed for intensive professional use and reliable touring performance.

Modular frame construction

The Meatrack is built from fork-side panels and interchangeable length profiles, forming a rigid and configurable rack structure. The modular design allows the width and internal layout to be tailored to different fixture types and transport requirements.

Panels are available in heights of 112 cm, 183 cm and 203 cm. The 183 cm height offers an optimal balance between storage capacity and transport efficiency. It allows easy loading into vans and movement through lower doorways without significantly reducing hanging capacity.

For larger fixtures, 80 cm wide panels are available. These provide additional internal width, ensuring that wider moving heads or luminaires fit safely within the frame.

The modular construction ensures compatibility within the Admiral transport concept while maintaining structural stability under load.

Efficient setup on stage

The Meatrack is designed for direct deployment on stage. Fixtures can remain mounted on the hanging tubes during transport and be rolled directly into position.

This eliminates the need to carry fixtures individually in flightcases or boxes. It reduces handling time and minimises repetitive lifting.

By positioning the rack close to the installation point, fixtures can be removed and installed immediately. This improves setup efficiency and reduces physical strain during production builds.

Flexible hanging configuration

The pre-drilled hole pattern in the fork-side panels allows hanging tubes to be positioned at different heights within the frame. This enables efficient use of vertical space and controlled fixture placement.

Aluminium and steel tube options are available to match fixture weight and span length. Each tube supports up to 100 kg, with a maximum total rack load of 400 kg.

A centre bracket can be installed within the fork-side panels to create additional hanging positions in the middle of the rack. This increases configuration flexibility and improves load distribution when transporting larger fixtures.

Combined fixture and cable configuration

The Meatrack can be configured as a combination cart for both lighting fixtures and cables. By installing a centre bracket inside a fork-side panel, a cable support profile can be mounted within the same frame.

This allows cable forks to be added alongside hanging tubes. As a result, both fixtures and cables can be transported in one organised cart.

This combination reduces the number of transport units required and improves efficiency during loading and unloading. It also simplifies logistics when preparing for shows or touring setups.

High load capacity

Each hanging tube supports up to 100 kg, while the maximum total load capacity of the Meatrack is 400 kg. These load limits ensure safe operation when properly configured.

The rigid steel frame construction provides stability during transport and reliable performance in demanding professional environments.

Integrated top and bottom support

Selected length profiles (160 cm, 180 cm and 210 cm) include an integrated internal ledge along the inside of the profile. This feature enables a plate (not included) to be positioned at the top of the rack, creating a flat surface similar to a lid configuration.

The same ledge also allows a plate to be installed at the bottom of the rack, making it possible to store additional equipment or accessories below the hanging fixtures.
