BUILD A RAMP

FLEX RAMP
SYSTEM

Easily construct stage ramps of varying heights (40 to 180 cm) with our versatile Flex Ramp system. Depending on the desired height, the ramp can consist of 2 to 6 decks and span between 4 and 12 meters in length. It can be set at various slope levels*, providing the flexibility needed for different setups, including lower slopes of up to 5 degrees.

The Flex Ramp is ideal for rolling goods like flight cases, loudspeakers and lighting equipment from floor to stage level. It is not a standalone unit and is not suitable for dynamic loads such as cars. For proper stabilization, the Flex Ramp must always be used in combination with a stage of at least 6 x 4 meters (24m²).
The system is designed to work with Prolyte stage decks and other compatible decks**.

* We recommend not exceeding a slope of 9 degrees when loading heavier equipment.
** Refer to the Flex Ramp manual for specific information on which decks are suitable to use with this system.

Flex Ramp Elements

Flex Housing Set

The Flex Housing Set joins two stage decks while also functioning as the foundation of each leg. Two Flex House elements are required for a complete connection between two stage decks. These two Houses are connected together by a Brace tube, secured at the ends with locking pins.

Max load500 kg/m2
(for the total construction, when used in combination with a stage of minimum 6 x 4 m)
MaterialHouse: steel
Brace: steel
FinishHouse: zinc plated
Brace: powder coated
DimensionsHouse: 250 x 60 x 220 mm (L x W x H)
Brace: 35 x 35 x 990 mm (L x W x H)
Weight10.1 kg
ColourHouse: grey
Brace: orange

Flex Legs

These special Flex Legs come in different heights, making the Flex ramp system very flexible. Adjust each Flex Leg to the desired height within its range by turning the feet spindle.

Heights 125 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, 600 mm, 800 mm

Flex Frame

The Flex Ramp system works for stages up to 180 cm tall. To keep the ramp stable from a height of 70 cm and above, the Flex Frame is required to ensure lateral stability.

Max load500 kg/m2
(for the total construction, when used in combination with a stage of minimum 6 x 4 m)

Flex Ramp Calculator

Depending on your desired ramp dimensions and setup, different Flex elements are required. Use the Flex Ramp calculator to determine the ones you'll need.

How does it work?

A - Stage height
The height of your stage determines the ramp height and influences the rest of the calculations. Enter this value first in the calculator.

B - Amount of decks
Based on your stage height, you can build a ramp with 2 to 6 decks. Choose the number of decks based on your desired slope (for safety, we recommend not exceeding a 9-degree slope for heavier equipment).

C - Ramp slope
The Flex Ramp slope can range from 2.9 to 13 degrees, depending on the height and length of the ramp. The exact slope to set on the Flex Housing Sets will be provided by the calculator.

D - Leg positions
The measurements and Flex elements needed for each set of legs vary based on the previous values selected. To help distinguish each set, the legs are assigned positions from 1 to 5, starting with the shortest part of the ramp up to the tallest part.
