SIDELIGHT TOWER

Roll your lights on stage and lift them up with ease.

A versatile solution for both
sidelights and shinlights

Mount your fixtures in our towers, transport them to the location, push the ladder up by hand and use them as a Sidelight tower on stage!

Sidelight towers can be equipped with moving heads, theatre luminaires and other lighting fixtures. The height of the tower of 200 cm, can be increased with 100 cm by pulling the ladder up.

The position of the ladder can be symmetrical or asymmetrical, depending on the type of fixtures you want to use. The symmetrical Sidelight tower can be used for smaller fixtures such as LED par spotlights, small moving heads, blinders and strobes. Larger moving heads and profile spots fit the Sidelight tower when the ladder is positioned asymmetrically. In this position there is more space in front of the ladder to position and aim your profile spots in the desired direction.

Telescopic ladder

The telescopic ladder inside the Sidelight tower consists of a frame with two hanging tubes: one at the top and one at the bottom.
Two separate hangers with forksets are also provided, so they can be installed at any desired position within the ladder frame. Assembly is easy thanks to pre-drilled holes spaced every 4 cm.

Pull handles

You can push the ladder upwards to raise your lights to the required height, reaching up to 100 cm. The ladder is lifted using pull handles on both sides, giving you better control when raising or lowering the ladder. Once in place, a locking pin secures the ladder.

To operate the Sidelight tower safely, a maximum load of 40 kg can be hung in the ladder before pulling it up. When the ladder is already lifted and secured, it can be loaded up to 100 kg. For added safety, the ladder is equipped with an automatic locking system. If one of the orange pull handles is accidentally released, the system will automatically engage to stop and secure the ladder.

Adjustable roller wheels

The ladder is equipped with roller wheels that allow it to slide more easily. The wheels are adjustable, so the slack of the ladder in the Sidelight tower can be easily fixed by pulling aside the cord and using a screwdriver to adjust the wheels.

Extra tubes for shinlights

When the ladder is lifted up, two extra tubes can be mounted in the bottom side of the Sidelight tower to create shinlights. These tubes are mounted on the outer frame of the tower. Please be aware that the extra tubes need to be removed before lowering the ladder or during transportation. If the orange handles are in the way of the shinlight, they can be easily removed.
