Freedom Down Rigger
The Freedom Down rigger provides even more creative options as you can combine several down riggers in different heights to create an impressive light structure. Adding hangers between our length profiles provides you with the possibility to hang multiple fixtures in a row.
BUILD A down rigger STEP BY STEP
Step 1 Choose the length profiles
The Freedom length profiles are the first element needed to assembly your Down rigger. These profiles are powder coated black, made out of aluminum and come in four size variations: 50 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm and 200 cm.
Further, a nut plate is added at the top of each length profile so that they can be directly connected to either a clamp or a coupler.
The nut plate set includes two types of nuts you can choose from depending on your use, self locking ones for a permanent connection or wing ones for a temporary connection.
STEP 2 CHOOSE the hangers
The next step in setting up your Down rigger is to fit hangers between the length profiles selected. Admiral Staging's hangers are made out of aluminium and they are offered in different size variations: 30cm, 40 cm, 50 cm and 60 cm.
After choosing the right size and deciding where on the length profile the hangers will be placed, these hangers are easy to assemble with M10 knobs.
Always use the Freedom safety set (provided) to secure your load with a secondary safety device e.g. a safety cable.
extend the down rigger even more
Would you like to extend the length of your Down Rigger even more? Multiple profiles can be connected together.
This can be easily done by connecting length profiles to each other with the help of our Profile coupler set.
This profile coupler set is provided with all the bolts and nuts neccessary for assembly. Choose the type of nuts you want to use, wing - or self locking nuts, depending on what connection you want to make, temporary or permanent.
